Xbox 360 controller battery question?
Hey there, I was wondering is it worth it to buy an Xbox play and charge kit?? Or should I use batteries I have at home and what type of batteries do I need? just AA?
And how exactly does the charge and play kit work??
And can i can use any charger to recharge the dead batteries in my controller instead of buying an Xbox play and charge kit? My parents are trying to get me to save money and say they have a battery charger.

The charge and play will save you money in the long run. Plus they stay charged for a rather long time. I enjoy it and recommend it. All you do is put the batteries on the charges and they will light green when done charging.

No you can not use just any charger on any batteries. If you are wanting to save money, I would get some rechargable AA batteries and get the wall charger for the batteries. When they are dead you put the batteries in the charger and plug the charger into the wall and let them charge. If you get a play and charge kit, you plug the charger into your 360 and put the rechargable battery pack into your 360 controller and while you play, it charges your controller. When the light is red, its still charging. When its green, you can unplug the charger and use the controller wirelessly like before. You can also charge it when you arent playing. Just leave it plugged in to the controller and it charges. I would personally get the play and charge kit because it is a better investment in the long run.

Get a play and charge kit off eBay. You can get large capacity battery packs and they recharge whilst you play if you want. You never have to worry about batteries again. Using rechargeable batteries can be a pain as you may run out of power in them and cannot play until they are charged – you can do both with a play and charge kit, you charge it via a USB port on the front of the xbox or by mains of you buy a unofficial one that requires you to do so

sorry no you cannot charge xbox 360 controller batteries with regular battery chargers. i suggest buy a pack of Rechargeable batteries and use the battery charger your parents have it saves a lot of money trust me.
